Exclamation windows and radio stop working same time

my radio will just all the sudden turn off, at the same time niether LF or RF windows will work, when radio turns itself back on, the windows will work again??????? any suggestions??? thank you

lool i duno why every1 is having this! theres a thread in here showing u the how to fix this..i did mine its under the glove compartment remove the plastic thingy and solder the lose wire... ill try to find u the thread...

much needed info! mines does this ALOT!

sometimes the radio wont even work for a good 10mins. start the car up again and it could work fine for 3 days before doing this again!

The thread should be under the BCM (body control modual)fix.

Yep, had to do this myself. Not sure what the deal is with the solder on that board but for some reason it cracks and has to be resoldered. Once it is resoldered it mine worked flawlessly again. Mind you the cracks I saw were VERY tiny and I thought it couldn't be the problem but since I had it out went ahead and resoldered it. Problem solved.

Default electric help please

I did this fix on my 97 RS and it worked great, Thanks guys. Now My 96 GMC 1500 dash is acting similar. When I turn the key to the run position every thing works like it should, after I start the truck the gear indicator goes out and the speedo and the tach doesn’t work. Does this vehicle have a BCM? If not what should I check? I’ve already went through the dash looking for loose grounds or any thing out of place, with no luck. Any advise would be appreciated.
