Even with killer DA, a little hard to believe with just CAI and exhaust. Converter and sticky tires, yes.

thats exactly what i was doing revved it up in neutral and dropped it down to 1st and then 2nd, i would also get similar results by holding the brake and bring it up to about 2000-2300 like i said it took a lot of practicing trying to get it down correctly about 26 runs but that was the best run i had so far, oh i forgot the 3.73 gears as a part of my mod

Next time you're driving the car, floor it and watch where it flashes. That'll be a good indicator of the stall size you have. Basically, if you're able to footbrake to 2200-2300 rpms, it's an aftermarket converter.

Lmao @ neutral drops

My pos stock stall starts spinning them at 1500

You did neutral drops and your car is still moving? Your lucky you still have a trasmission that works at all. Im sure it will not go to much longer. Your car will be falling apart very soon. Have fun doing neutral drops spending thousands :drive:

so, are the new tires slicks or drag radials? I have a PT 4000 and it will only brake stall to 2500 =/- with sticky tires.

Looking at the time slip I am starting to think that you may be the one on the left. I'm not trying to talk trash, but comparing the reaction times the one on the left looks like a "first-timer" run. Plus, the 60' on the left seems like a "first-timer" run. The overall time on the left looks more feasable with your mods as well. Maybe I'm reading into it too much but do you have it mixed up?

no its the one on the right, and the car isnt stock as for some to say, earlier that day i was running low 13's and the weekend before that they were in the mid 13's but practice on reaction time from the tree and learning how the motor reacts after i hit the accelerator and again i wasnt sure on what the previous owner did to the motor/tranny exactly he wasnt able to find all the receipts but as far as i look in them it was no more than an engine rebuild and as everyone would say a 22-2300 stall, still pretty new on the LS motor so anything been modified i cant spot with the naked eye, been stuck on Nissans for some time but i'll ask call him and ask what else he did but from what i've seen thats the tomato

maybe they threw in a baby cam and converter when they rebuilt the motor?

I used to be able to foot brake my car up to about 1900-2000 rpm with the stock stall on nittos...

Calling B.S. on the E.T. though cause it takes more then an oil change and a muffler delete to get mid 12's in an auto.

it has 3.73s as well?

i ran a 12.77 in my a4 camaro 3.73 intake exhaust no tune...~3800-3900 lb weight with me in it with a 1.98 60'

that mph and et doesn't add up...

the DA that day and time was 1208...which means sea level correction would put that time at 12.4

FASTEDDIE Z
05-30-2010, 08:06 AM
If this is real . More than likely your car has a stall converter (2800+) . That would be the reason for the ET and 60 ft with a low trap speed . More efficient out of the hole ,then it is at the top end . While it not considered a " major mod" to some people . It makes a "MAJOR " improvment in ET's :D
