Default mcleod street twin rebuild lt1

hi my street twin has recently started to slip pretty bad. prob mostly my fault cause i was still letting it loose even though i could feel it slipping pretty bad. recently it started slipping really bad so i dropped the trans out and pulled the clutch. the discs were worn all the way down to the studs and the fly wheel and center plate have some grooves in them. the question is could i just buy the pressure plate somewhere else since there all the same and have the center plate and flywheel resurface and just buy new discs opposed to spending 1300$ on a whole new set. or can the company rebuild these for a reasonable price.

also ive heard mixed opinions on whether you need a new slave cylinder and possible cut the fork pivot down a little to make these clutches work rite any comments?

I know McLeod does rebuilds - why don't you call and ask them?

I called them and they told me it was going to be $75 per disk to rebuild, is that still the case?

Send in the discs and we'll see if they are a mfg failure or negligence. If you were just changing from one hub spline to another the charge is $75 per hub.
