Default what mod should i do next that will give me the most cut in et

What do you guys suggest i do next to my lt1 i have a budget of about 750 dollers i can do all the work myself. I talking bolt ons not internals. I broke it down into three groups either a. torque converter b. gears and pullies c. longtubes and 3" catback. or if theres something else im missing that would be even better let me know. My current mods are in my signature.

converter + tire should give you the biggest cut of those.

A higher stall torque converter will be useless without a sticky tire! Do the two together.

But a sticky tire, gears, and a converter will easily get you between .5 and .7.

Gears and a converter then. Although I would ditch those Nittos. I never had any good luck with them hooking. Granted for your 10-bolt's sake, it's probably better you do have them.

I would go with the stall 1st. I would get a vigilante or yank. Than get the gears.

Definitely get the stall first. I would get something else from your list before gears too. The 3.23s are decent and gears aren't super critical on a stalled auto.

You have a 3.23 car, a 2800-3200 stall would do great(more like a 3200) dropping that 60ft along with the drag rims, radials.

You should drop .2-.3 off your 60ft =.4-.5 off your ET.

I would just add a cutout for the track for the extra HP. They run 35 bux, welding is 50 or done in your garage but it wiil drop a .1-.2. Make sure to pull the front sway bar, seats, spare+jack, bumper supports, seat belts. That could drop another .1-.3 depending on how much you are already stripping down the car currently.

With everything I listed you could very well knock off a second or .8 off your ET.

ps i would put the cutout right after where the cat would be. It rumbles the PS seat. I have my e cutout there, its great, especially with girls.

Quick Reply: what mod should i do next that will give me the most cut in et
