So today i got bored and weighed my fast 90 intake and weighed an ls1 intake i had laying around. I thought that the fast intake was suppose to weigh less?? The fast weighed 10lbs and the ls1 intake weighed 10lbs. I know the fast is suppose to be stronger but i thought it was suppose to be lighter at the same time? Weird idk just figured id tellyou guys

Hmm.. that's odd. I thought the same thing. Don't suppose it matters any but I thought I remember reading that as one of the "advantages of a FAST intake"
Interesting experiment man

Hell, even if its 20% lighter (which is a solid percentage), that would just have been 2 lbs. Not enough for me to care.
If they actually advertise a lighter manifold, that's another thing entirely. :secret2:

if anyone feels ripped off, i'll gladly trade my ls1 manifold for your fast :jest:

The fast is 90mm. What's the stock intake? 85mm?

LS6 TB is 78mm i thought the LS6 intake was the same. LS1 should be smaller.

stock ls1 tb is 75mm guys. Fast makes a 78mm intake and throttle body to along with the 92 and now the 102.

Call them and demand a lighter part lol. Be sure you are using an accurate scale.
