car's lowered (prokit) is there a after market tranny pan that wont cause me to have issues with it scrapping??

or a pan that is the same as stock that has some sort of way to keep the tranny running cooler??

There are not any low profile tranny pans besides the stock one.

You could try a 4l60 truck "deep" trans pan and filter.
It only adds probably a quart of extra capacity but that's better than nothing. And you would probably have a little more ground clearance than the aftermarket deep pans.

and they are cheap!

This pan would be a factory pan for a pickup. Get ot from either a dealer or salvage yard. I think they are like $25 new from a dealer. Just make sure to get a matching filter and gasket kit because the fluid pickup will be lower.

You can search this forum and you should find some info on using truck deep pans.

Don't know.... I would use a cooler for extra cooling. Not rely on the pan for that.

I have a bigger cooler w/fan & deeper pan. My car is not lowered and I have to be very careful of what I drive over..I may end up putting my stock pan back on.

I stepped back from the TCI finned super-deep pan to the
truck pan because I was collecting too much yellow paint
on the drain plug. Truck pan is not the lowest thing in the
undercarriage and if you do tag it, it's steel and can take
some abuse. '02 Silverado is a good app to reference if
you want the drain plug.

Rossler offers an exclusive moroso fabbed pan. Pretty sure it holds about two extra quarts. Clearance looks good as well. And on the topic of added fluid, there is usually always a temperature reduction from this. It may not be 20 degrees(closer to 10) but this added benefit is only adding longevity.

Look at a DERALE.
I have one of their "Cooler Pans" on my Formula for 2 years now. Adds 2 qts. has drain plug. You can get it for approx $70 give or take a fin ($5)
No problems. I'd recco it to anyone.

part # 14104 & 14204 (new #)
do a google search on "Derale 4l60e trans pan" for best price quotes.
