Congrats on the new best. How much longer do you plan to stay SI? I'd like to see if i can get an 11.4 out of the car before I throw a cam in it, but I'm pretty impatient

Thank's Lynda. Raceweight or a little better DA could account for the differences in our runs.. I wouldn't worry about it.
Well.. never planned to be SI this long. My goal was a 11.5.. but now I'm thinking 11.4's ;)

Those are better than my H/C times.
I just keep having things screwing my car up every time I'm at the track it seems. :(

Thanks everyone!
Raceweight was ~3320 (thats with me in the car)
List of the mods to the car are here: http://www.geocities.com/wilwaxu/about.html#formula
Traction was horrible last night. I put on a show on one pass, spun so hard that the I thought I was going to take out the tree! I lifted twice and still ran a 12.28 @ 113.63 ;)
Hey EFA guys.. Weather Update for Tampa Florida: Sun for the rest of the week, highs in the 60's and lows in the 40's ;) I'll be back in MD next weekend to enjoy your pain.
Lynda, I plan to go straight to H/C. I drive this car ALOT (44K) I'm afraid of the valve spring breakage I've seen with a cam & on the car valve spring swaps. Figure I will go with heads with double springs to give me the dependability I'm looking for.

Hey...did you see the little red 97 Cobra running 10.3's? That's Al Papitto - the car is a n/a DOHC 5.4. He's building my Factory-stock spec 4.6 for the 2004 NMRA season.
Good luck - and don't be a stranger!

Thanks Bob!
Al was FLYING! Too bad he broke early, only got to talk to him once in the lanes. Car has came ALONG way since the last time I saw it... he was running 11.6's then ;) He should do very well in Factory Stock.

Ya, he called me on the way home. No oil, no sound, no mess, just no power. Don't know what happened. And he's not racing F/S...I am....he's just building the motor. :D

Whoo Hoo!
Found one of my traction problems. I had re-installed panhard support. It's been off for nearly a year. The bolts on my LPW cover were hitting it. Last week I "clearenced" and put it back on the car... well, I didn't clearence it enough ;) It was hitting pretty hard ;)
I did alot more clearencing today.. hopefully that will cure some of my traction problems :)
