Low idle on cold start after new intake manifold
I just installed a new BBK intake manifold on my 98 z28. On a cold start, the engine idles very low (about 300-400 with an aftermarket tach). It just barely stays running. Once the engine warms up to normal running temp, it will idle all day at 800rpm (right where it should be).
If I turn the idle up, it will idle at 800 on a cold start; but once the engine warms up it will idle at around 1200.
I didn't have this problem before the new intake. Does anybody have any ideas as to what might be causing this? Thanks.

Mine idle's right at 500 even. I thought it was strange, but it pulls like a bull once I put it in gear (A4). I Never had an engine that would idle that low and NOT want to die.
