Default Truck guys inside please.

I'm going to level the front of my f150, and I was wondering who has the best prices for some 33- 35" tires?

I prefer all terrains over muds for the sake of my ear drums LOL!

Thanks in advance...

tirerack.com get them sent to your house or wherever they are willing to send them to and take them to wherever you want them installed

depends what you are looking for.

I printed a quote off of tiresdirect.net and took it to discount and had them match it.

FWIW the site quoted toyo open country m/t 35-12.50 R20 @ $310 a tire with like 160 shipping.
Discount quoted $460 a tire!! well they did not want to but they ended up matching it and only charged me like $60 for shipping. I wanted to use discount for the convenience.

I don't know what side of town you are on but mann tire in tomball had a great deal on my first set of 33's and they had them in stock. They are not convenient for me and although they were over $100 lower than discount they could not match the tiresdirect price. Good guys though.

Also i know nittos are popular but you wont get a lot of miles out of them.

onlinetires.com, buywheelstoday.com, and treadepot.com all seam to have reasonable prices

I have never dealt with any of those companies just used their quotes at discount.

hope this helps

What kind of lift do you have, truck and so on? Are you just tightening the torsions? Are you sure 35's will fit, they are alot bigger than you think? 33's I'm pretty sure will fit.

I am running 285 75 16's right now, with my torsions maxed on my Z. These are basically 33's I believe. They are nitto terra grapplers I got form discount and have had no issues, and they are pretty aggressive with little road noise. The nitto's have lasted great for me, 20k miles and they still have loads of tread. I payed about 800 for all four, lifetime mount/balance, and 4 tire road hazard. Opted for no interest, payed them off in 3 months.

Price also depends on rim size.

If your going somewhere local 4 wheel parts always hooked me up with tires and price matched tirerack and discount tire direct. If you call them talk to joe @ the 610/fannin location.

IF you end up changing your mind by chance and want some 40x15.50x22 Toyo open countries let me know. I have some in my garage.

Yeah Jon I don't think she can get those under her. As far as rubbing goes it will be fine. Fords are higher from the factory, and can take a much taller tire. I'm going up 3 inches in the front and 1 in the back, my brother has the older body style and he fits 35's with just turning up the bars so yeah.

what year f150? my buddy at work had a 06 f150 4x4 with a leveling kit in the front and stuffed some big 'ol nasty 35x1250 20 nitto trail grapplers and they only rubbed just a bit when the wheel was turned aaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllll the way other than that he had no issues.... as far as what tire to do go with, well i am somewhat biased but i believe the bfg all terrain is the best tire in all catagories for an all terrain... i am running 285 70 17's on my 2wd silverado with 2in coil spacers and i LOVE these tires... they are quite on the rode and handle their own in the mud! GET THESE TIRES YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!! they are rather expensive though, but worth the coin IMO.

It's an 04, the same body style as your friend. I figure 33's-35's will be the best choice size wise.

Zac,

The Nitto Trail Grappler M/Ts are supposed to be really nice with a quiet ride (reviews say they are almost as quiet as the Terra Grapplers). They are pretty affordable too.

I'm going to get me a set of 35's pretty soon.

Here's pics of some on an F150s.

they are pretty quite for being a mud terrain... my friend at work had them on his f-150 and he liked them, the tread looks aggresive but the center blocks are closer together than say the bfg km1's and the toyo mudd terrains, so they are a lot quiter in return but not as good in the mud... they look pretty nasty though, i've put a couple of sets on and i really like them alot!
