Super Victor Intake Manifold
I'm planning on going with the Super Victor intake with the High Flow Elbow....just curious to what you had to do, if anything, to get it to fit. I've heard their are some clearance issues and I just wanna know exactly what I'm getting myself into. Also I will be running the edelbrock fuel rails, I know the factory ones don't work....

since you are getting a tall hood...try a carb spacer too to help distribution in the intake
(I had roughly 3" of room between the top of my elbow and the bottom of the hood without a spacer)
is the hood you are getting extended to the windshield? if so cut the cowl off all the way back to the base of the windshield and box it in...gain tons of room

Dogbox the windshield un the middle up to where the hood rests on the windeshield, and gain the ability to take the motor/trans out as one piece.. you can go strait back to the main firewall if you have the 5 inch pin on vfn hood
That, along with removing the upper radiator support, (or making it removable) will REALLY make some room!

the intake itself is probably about the same height as the LS intake....its the elbow, TB, etc that makes it start growing FAST...problem is part of the carb flange is under the cowl.

Thanks for all the input....and yes I ordered the one that is extended to the windshield....what is the best way to cut the cowling away? And what do you mean by box it?

Look in the racing section for the build called "money shot"
It's almost an outlaw car... but with just enough to keep it in the stock suspension catagory (and an amazing build as well..... thing's really been pushed to the limit, both technology wise, build quality wise and well... probably cost wise too)
It will for sure be running in the 6.xx at well over 200 mph when it's done.
