C6 vette...can't downshift from 6th to 5th Well after a few missed 2nd to 3rd's at the track I'm not able to downshift from 6th to 5th. 4th to 5th works fperfectlt ine, no grinding or anything. 6th to 5th feels like it's hitting a wall. It doesn't grind, just won't go in. I swapped out the shifter to a MGW today (great shifter) and while I did that I checked the stock shifter alignment and bushings which checked out ok. Appears my issue is internal, but I'm not sure what the issue is.
Anyone ever have this problem?
