ok here some info for people swaping rears from an 97 z28 lt1 4 channel rear to a 98-02 ls1 4channel rear end fyi porposes.hope this helps others doing a simmiler swap

1.the rear brakes are larger on the rear of ls1s than on lt1 cars

2. they are both 4 channel rear ends but the harness from the lt1 rear end must be reused as the end of the harness where it connects to the body is different amongst the two.

3.the brake lines are different on an ls1 rear than the lt1 as the ls1 only has one brake line that connects from the rear to the body and the lt1 4 channel has two seperate brake lines <one for each caliper>

4.you need longer lower control arm bolts for the ls1 rear as it has special backing plates for the ebrake cable .

5. ebrake cables from the 98-02 car are required as the ebrake setup is different.
