Question on stock tires rubbing on the struts
I bought my 04 GTO last July with only 16,000 miles on it. It's now at 22,500 and my front tires are rubbing against the struts and completely destroyed my tires, I've read about a possible recall but I am not sure it happened or not, what should I do, take it back to the dealer and bitch or just buy skinner tires and get a alignment??

There wasn't ever an official recall but some people managed to get it fixed by GM after bringing it in and bitching and complaining.
I would try and do that first and if they won't do anything then you're gonna have to buy new strut mount bearings and and strut mounts because yours are obviously shot.
Pedders and Lovells sell kits that would fix your problem and buying skinnier tires wouldn't help you at all.

First bitch to the dealer. You'll most likely need new strut mounts and bearings and a re align. Check into the kits from the companies mentioned above as a future fix if the dealer doesn't help.
