Default LS7 into a 68 Camaro - dry sump questions

I've scanned the forums and it appears a Peterson 08-0005 oil tank is the best one for a 68 Camaro (or most commonly used), but are there any tanks out there that has a built in oil temperature sensor?

If not, how does someone suggest installing a temperature sensor on an LS7? Should I put on in-line on the exit line from the pan?

Anyone suggest going with the stock Z06 tank?
