I've wanted to do a pulley for a while, but I'm not sure if I should do any other mods alongside it. I don't intend to do a cam swap so I don't think I'll be doing the oil pump and all that when I do the pulley, but I was wondering if there are any external mods to do at the same time as the pulley. Primarily I was wondering about doing an aftermarket belt tensioner such as the comp cams billet tensioner.

For what it's worth I plan on going with the Fluidampr 10% ud pulley. Also I was wondering if there are some belts to use that are better than others or if they're all the same.

Any input on this matter is appreciated.

Nothing else is required other than the shorter belt. Good time to do a cam swap though

If I were going to do a 10% it would only be ATI because it is much lighter. I run a March 25% UD and it is ok just heavy.....

I think doing just the pulley is a bad idea, not worth it. If you do a cam swap the pulley has to come off so it's the right time to swap it.
