I wouldn't call them a ***, just seems they set the buy it now at the wrong price, says in the ad the actual buy it now price. Now as to if Ebay would side with a buyer for clicking buy it now for $1, who knows?

It would be cool if someone lived close enough that they wanted local pick up.

As a seller, you dont have to offer local pick-up if you dont want to. He's not trying to **** the buyer, he's trying to **** ebay and their greedy *** fees.

I thought they banned gouging people with ridiculous shipping charges a few years ago? I remember getting an email about it anyway and thought it made sense because I was sick of looking for stuff and seeing it be a great deal until they hit you with $60 shipping and "handling" for crap like a CD deck. Hell, you can't even pass on the paypal fees to the buyer anymore on ebay. That was another email I got...PITA!!!!

Yah he is trying to get out of the fee. Lol i just got 2 of the new style tail lights center peice and a strut tower brace at a junk yard for 120 $. I sold my one old style tail light (other was broke) for 125 on ebay. Put $5 in my pocket and got all that stuff for one friking old tail light. I was pretty happy with the way that all worked out!
