I daily drove my LT1 no a/c, it sucked but so long as you were moving and didn't mind sweating like a **** it was ok. Depending on where you live in Texas no heat could be really horrible unless your commute was under 10 minutes.

I don't know if I would want to daily a car without defrost if the temps dip at all at night and what have you. That jacket isn't going to keep your head warm if you have to hang it out the window becasue you can't see a damned thing through your fogged up windshield

I DD'd my SS for a month or 2, with no AC or heat. DO NOT DO IT. it was winter time when i did this and i live in texas, it would get so cold my hands would be numb. Then no defroster, so i couldn't drive in the rain. It sucks.

I suggest keeping both for a DD, you might not have had AC before, but when you have it you will enjoy it. I lived without AC for awhile, but before i traded my camaro i recharged the AC at the shop, Was very nice. I miss that car

ya last winter one morning i was off to work (4am) and theres freakin ice aaallllll over the car the dam defrost wouldnt get hot enough quickly to melt the ice off the windshield...and i was guna be late so i took my i.d. badge and started scraping that **** off lol...couldnt feel my fingers...but defrost didnt help me in that situation also when it was cold all my windows would ALWAYS fog up on the inside (heater or ac not on) so i just got one of those "as seen on tv" windshield cleaner wiper thing from walmart and whenever i couldnt see id just grab that thing and start wiping the fog off (long handle)...u dont need no defroster!!

My thirdgen has neither and its daily driven. If your hands are cold wear gloves, if your head gets cold wear a beanie. The windshield does fog up, wipe it off before you drive, and if you have a cowl hood engine heat will defog the windshield.

My first two cars had no A/C. I lived in Corpus Christi and those were the worst years of my life. I dreaded going places during the day because of how hot the inside of the car got. One day I actually took a thermometer with me and the the temp inside the car was 99 when I was MOVING and got up to 115 if I sat for longer than one minute.

You get used to it but it is not pleasant.

I dont DD my car but still keep the A/C, If your DD it you will definitely want to keep the defrost. Here when its raining and hot the windshield will fog up. And the way the windshield is designed you would need a mop with a long handle to keep wiping it

DDing a car without those amenities is a foolhardy decision. I've done it enough to know.

keep the ac... removing it hurts the resale value of car plus you need it to
defog the windows . imo i like to be comfortable when i drive on hot days .

value of the car? lol this is an LT1 we're talking about. I'd probably pay extra so I wouldn't have to go through the hassle of removing the dash
