LS4 Performance - happy birth day gxp_rachie!!! vids inside

well today was my wifes bday, and one of the gifts i got her was a 3inch cutout, went and had it welded in today (right before where the 3 inch pipe starts to make the bend to head back to the y so its pretty much open 3 inch pipe lol) sounds pretty good and she says she can feel a slightly better pull on the top end...so this should compliment her other present that i got her on saturday (hp tuners dyno tune)...anyway on to some vids, sorry for the quality had to use my cell as i left my camera at home, i will take some better pictures and videos later on

ill get a few better vids later today, soory again for the quality, she really likes it though, this is just temporary until i get the electric cutout valve (the one i got her is a manual cutout by flo tech/holley)

Edit: I have a DMH brand one. Also there is a 2.5" one in the classifieds, maybe you can get it to fit yours.

My electric stays open about 20% 24/7 (it replaced my cat). :D Wait til you hear it with no rev limiter. :devil::devil::devil:

This is how I wish I would have done my exhaust. 3" from exhaust manifold to rear split, with a cut out just before. Would have been just as effective as what I have now, and much cheaper.

the next 2 are from the inside of the cabin messing around with the tap shift, in one vid i didnt tap the shift button/padle early enough so it hit the limiter for a brief second lol

btw the engine light is from the downpipe, throwing the no cat code which actually disables the remote start lol, another thing to get rid of via hp tuner

Make sure you raise the 2nd to 3rd shift points to what ever 1st to 2nd is (5950?) when you get tuned. Stock 2nd to 3rd is way to early. unless you use tap shift.

yea i noticed that, tap shift also seems to make the car shift firmmer and faster

I miss my remote start... Same thing, no O2 sensor, car's been running pig-rich for almost a year... It's going to be nice when I get new plugs and a tune to lean it out a little and tune the sensor out.
