Default TH350 problems!!

Hey guys wondering what you guys think is the limit on a TH350?
I have had this trans in my car for 4 years and it keeps breaking the first time it lasted 3.5 years and i rebuilt it and it broke again so i took it back and it broke again so i pulled it and my old motor and put in a Heads and Cam Ls3 and took the trans to another shop and sent the converter to Fti and all was going well and now today 2nd gear let go. So is it time for a Th400 or whats going on? It is a RMVB and i love it and my converter is perfect but i haven't even sprayed this motor yet!

What all is done to the transmission? And are parts breaking or clutch issues?

I've been told the pump was bad the sprag a band. As far as the trans it has a Billet Rmvb sprag clutches bands everything i can think of really. I went high 10's full weight and 3.23 gears for years and now it won't last 100 miles it seems.

It shifts hard. But i like hard shifts? What do i have to do to run a Th400? I know my converter will work.

You would just need to change the yoke on the drive shaft andmove the x member a bit.
But in fact bro is correct excessivley harsh shifts will shorten the life of any trans , You want firm solid shifts at WOT and progressive up to there. The set up us have from what I gather is really intended for a all out race non street driven car. Even with the 400 if set up to shift as hard as possible all the time will likley experince intermitant parts breakage. Hard shift yes good for the clucth set not so good for hard parts, What your looking for in a good build is a compromise between the two.
