Default 4L60e forward movement in neutral, binding manual 1st after rebuild

I hate asking for help but I am missing something and I am looking for advice.

I broke the rear reaction carrier center (cracked and stripped out splines) a few weeks back. I took the trans apart, cleaned everything, reassembled, and now my new problem.

Reverse works, when in OD or D, no automatic forward shifting. I can command shifts with HP Tuners and I do get a 2-3, sometimes 3-4 shift. The 2-3 shows it shifted on the scanner.

In neutral, it has forward, in manual first it binds like it is getting two signals at once. I have taken the valve body out twice and checked the valve and spring locations and I do not see an issue there.

Any help would be appreciated. The trans only had 3000 miles or so on it when it broke, it has all of the good parts inside, Beast shell, Zpak 3-4's, good quality clutches in the rest, pinless accumulators, Transgo HD2 programming kit, 13 vane pump with hardened rings and high rev spring, etc.

sounds more like the car is in limp mod with the binding in first manually with the tg kit that would be a normal thing if it was , Make sure you have power on pin e of the trans harness ,

Thanks, its great that you come on here and offer assistance.

That was the first thing I was going to check tonight. Hopefully it is that easy.

Also, I forgot to mention that I did get a P1810 code, never saw that one before.

P1810 = TFP Valve Position Switch

Might be something like the manual valve is not in right or the TFP manifold is leaking.

Well all of the electronics passed, that sucked.

Now I guess it comes back out. I should just get a new one and worry about this one later.

Yep, I replaced all of the O-rings. What are the odds of the manifold switch being bad? I did check across each pressure switch and when you press them the circuit opens and closes but that doesn't mean it is working when installed.

Yep, this is a thrill a minute. I have done these before with no issues and now I have a good one. Lucky me.
Thanks

Ok, sort of an update.

I got my hands on a brand new 4L65e for cheap, could not pass it up.

I installed the 3-4 Z pak clutches, pump rings and spring, everything on the HD-2 programming kit, I did the high rev springs from the kit for the 3-4 and over-run but not the ones in the bottom of the case, I only pulled the input housing and reverse drum out.

I have binding in manual low. I triple checked the valve body bolts so I positively know a bolt is not hitting the sunshell. I have power at the trans, checked all of the wiring from the PCM to the trans and all is good. I can command all of the solenoids with HP Tuners and they all activate on demand. I am going nuts, I can not figure out why is is binding in manual low.

All other gears seem to be working, the TCC even locks in fourth.

When I log the data, the PWM goes from 100% in 2nd gear to 0% in 1st, TCC slip goes from 55 rpms to 1100 rpms. PSC line pressure drops to 0% and then climbs 61%
