Default 275/60 tire guys

So who out there is running a 275/60 tire (15" rim) and how fast are ya running?
It seems to be a good gauge on which cars have their suspension dialed in and
your experience will help me figure out what I might be leaving on the table.

My ride is 3500lb Z/28 6spd shooting for low 10's on spray (goes 11.0's n/a on 17's)
~470rwhp/480rwtq w/ all susp goodies

Mine went the time below on bone stock stamped steel suspension components and 59,XXX thousand mile DeCarbons. This was through a TH400 though.

alot of guys running 7s and 8s on this tire. that said they're also running some kickass ignition systems, and datalogging suspension travel, wheelspeed, driveshaft acceleration/etc to get the cars dialed it. They're also all running an automatic trans! Get a 28x10.5S from M/T or hoosier, it'll be tons more consistant with that six speed.

I've been 1.395 in my Nova on a 10.10 spray pass, but as mentioned auto trans cars do better on a radial versus a stick. With suspension tuning you could make it work but a slick is more forgiving.

You won't run those times with a six speed and a radial... Put a slick on the car and let it eat!

appreciate the info guys
The odds are against me with a stick but I've had it for 11yrs and don't plan on changing
Slicks are a sure hook but I can't run them on the street so worse case scenario
I'll bump up to the 295/55's
