Question where is the milage stored?

hi doing a ls1 m6 in a 71 chevelle. I bought a 2002 trams am ws6 car crashed.

iam trying to find out the milage (to see if i was lied too ) i call the dealer they said its not stored in the pcm but it may be stored in the bcm or the inst. pannel(cluster). trying to put power the the harness and see if it would like up the cluster but the guy who i bought had cut the harness in the front. not the engine but the one that goes to the 2 fuse boxes in the right front . any help would be great.

Its stored in the cluster, might also be stored in the BCM.

In 2002 its stored in the cluster
If it was totaled off, run the VIN through CarFax and see what mileage the insurance company said was on it
