Seat belt won't roll back up 00 Z28 the dang seat belt won't roll up
Drivers side it's a pain in the ........!!!
I keep closing the door on it
what gives?
my 96z28 I has also did the same thing
can this be fixed will a new one do the same thing?

thats odd. never had an issue with GM seatbelts outside of the locks keeping it from retracting every now and again, which was easily fixed by giving a lil tug and letting it rewind. and a new one shouldnt do it, maybe something got caught inside the plastic cover?

This happens. The retractors will sometimes gum up and go bad. Just time for a new seat belt. Its easy to put in - you just need a torque wrench to make sure you get proper torque on the mounting bolts. (In order for the replacement to be safe.)
