Default What temp thermostat are you carbed guys running?
Hey guys I have an LQ4 with L92's and am running a carb. What temp thermostat should I go with? What are all you guys running?

I just put a over the counter stat in my car runs at 180

The 6.0's run a factory 186 degree it looks like. I was just thinking maybe a little cooler thermostat. What temp are you having your fans turn on?

I'm running a 160°. Guy at the parts store said the colder you run them the more power they make.

Not sure what temp my fans come on. Just kind of set it.

Where are you guys finding these lower temp thermostats? All I can find is the stock 186 degrees for 6.0's.
