drive shaft length issues help

Default drive shaft length issues help

the setup i have is th400 with a stock 10 bolt in a 94 camaro sooo the drive shaft i bouth was for a th400 with a 9in. and i doo need to cut down the drive shaft and i was wondering if anyone knew how much i would have to remove?

If I remember 1/2 of what I have read if going from a 10 bolt to a 9 in you need to add 1/2 to one in so going the other way I would say about 3/4 in . If I were working on this I would go to https://www.brutespeed.com/index.htm
read the instruction on measure DS then call Bob ,I think he would be nice and answer your question
