Re: ws6 ram air hood wieght compared to an after market fiberglass ram air hood wieght? I dont think its worth it, Ive heard about 55 pounds for the stock one, and around 10 pounds with a carbon fiber.. Not sure on the fiberglass though. But 40 or so pounds wouldnt really be worth it to me..

Its worth it to me I just paid $145. to shed 10 lbs with my spohn chromoly motor mounts. All in all I spent close to a grand on a dynabatt battery, PA racings k-member a arm combo, and these motormounts. Id like to know who makes this carbon fiber hood as I am currently using Suncoasts WS6 rip off. I dont think its much lighter even if it is fiberglass.

Re: ws6 ram air hood wieght compared to an after market fiberglass ram air hood wieght? Stock WS6 and the ASCD hood or Suncoast hoods will be within 10 lbs of each other, figure a range of 40-50 lbs. My ASCD hood was 41 lbs.
