Earlier today, we were at the NHRA Summer Nationals held at Heartland Park in Topeka, Kansas. My wife was video recording when a funny car exploded and starts burning at about mid-track during the semifinals. The body is blown completely off the car and flies way up in the air (watch the replay at the end). The car bumps into his opponent at the far end of the track as they were stopping. Incredibly, the driver walks away with only minor injuries (you hear the crowd cheering as he gets out and gives a thumb's up.
