Default Is this a scam?

I have been looking into ls1 F bodies for a few months now, and this one almost looks too good to be true. Could someone take a look at it and see what they think? And also, is that an aftermarket hood? All of the Firehawks I have seen appear to have a different hood...

Looks like a real hawk to me. What other hood does it have? I've only seen these on there

I can't tell you for sure if it is a scam but if you are thinking it is priced to cheap, it's not. I picked up a 2000 Camaro SS with 32,000 and a ton of work done to it, mint condition inside and out, $10,975.

They are out there just need to search them out.....Good Luck.

So you're saying Firehawks usually bring more money than SS's and WS6's?

Buy it! If you're REALLY concerned about originality, SLP should be able to verify whether it is genuine or not.

Be careful with anything on CL. Do your homework well. Also, acar sitting in storage for 8 years may have some issues. That was some serious mileage put on in just two years time. It's not like it was a weekend cruiser. Was it banged hard during those two years? And by who?? Ask lots of questions!!

That's what Hawk hoods have. Looks normal to me for a Hawk.

RPO WU8 on the door decal would confirm a legit Hawk.

Hawks are always priced the highest of practically any 4th gen. This car seems legit and the price is pretty good. Most likely original owner and doesn't owe anything on it, so you most likely have a little wiggle room as well.

You might post in the Texas Members forum as well. Could very well be a member of this site or a friend of a member that knows more about this very car.
