Racer's Lounge - Should i complain to paypal for misrepresentation of items?

So I ordered keys and remotes for my dad's 04 mustang 'vert last week and they came in today. I programmed the remotes myself but i had to go to Ford for the keys since the mustang has PATS. Apparently the keys they sent me are just standard ford keys and don't have the chip in them. I thought maybe the pic looked different than the key i had already but i also figured maybe they introduced a smaller key with the PATS chip in them. So after spending $35 for the keys and remotes, and another $68 at the dealer for a new key and programming (you can't program a PATS car without 2 keys so you gotta pay the stealership to do it) i feel like i should get some money back on the keys i bought from the internet store, especially since they charged me TWO $7.95 S/H fees for items that were shipped in the same package by us mail.

yeah the problem with that is then i'd have to send back the remotes and the keys and the remotes work fine. Since i paid almost as much for shipping ($14) as i did for the items ($20) it's not really worth sending them back to get $20 back.

touché. surely u can get them shipped from usps for around 5 dollars in an padded envelope, right? They don't weight a lot or take up a lot of room.

Sorry about the bad exp. That kinda of bull is why I quit PP/Ebay. You can play the complaint game but I swear PP just tosses a coin to see who is right half the time. The ad is too ambiguous as to if the right keys are there but it does say the right remotes are there. :(

It actually wasn't ebay per say, but i think maybe a store that also delt with ebay. And yeah they came in a padded envelope.

And as for the keys, yeah the pic is what i got but it's different than what the pats key looks like. But EVERY ford key/remote combo on there has the same pic so i figured it was a generic pic. Since it says its for 2003-2006 mustangs and EVERY mustang from 99+ had PATS i figured they'd have to be PATS keys.
