Default 8000hp build

Have to get a block ready for Joliet 2 weeks from now.
I figured, full race cam and some nitro should make 8000hp

Zizzo qualified 9th at Atlanta 2 weeks ago, went to 2nd round before being eliminated by Larry Dixon.

Zizzo is not John Force, but we do work for him and support his team, it keeps us well rounded to not just work on the same pieces everyday.

Really? Hmmm I know he's been around here and there throughout last year and this year and so on guess I just missed him. Always great to get the "unknown" guys out there though!

Goodluck to you guys as well as Zizzo

They are more basic then you would think. The parts are only in for a few runs at most and at $50 each the pistons are really throw away parts

no joke? you would think everything on a top fuel motor would be insanely expensive. thoes are cheaper than a good set of forged pistons for an LS1.

and i agree, they are pretty basic, the most impressive part of a top fuel motor is the cylinder heads.

I love Top fuel and know a little bit about them. they are pretty simple the heads are crazy you can roll a golf ball down the port, which makes me laugh for some reason. some nitro and 50 pounds of boost **** just goes crazy.

Ni kidding, that's a good bit cheaper then I'd have thought the pistons would be.

At 50 bucks a piece no wonder teams don't mind changing them so much

The heads are also an interesting topic, as stated above. Be neat to see what really makes one of those monsters tick.

When your John Force, you can set your price on pistons. A test batch order is at min 200 pistons
