Default WHY is it so difficult to find out what axle bearing i need????

i have a moser 9" with 35 spline axles no one can give me the right part number to an oringed sealed bearing like the ones that come with the complete rear end assembly...???

i called moser and they gave me 2 possibilities 9508T or 9508B one being 3.150 OD/1.562ID and the 2nd 3.150 OD/1.531D???? i whipped out the calipers and measured the axle diameter where the bearings are to be pressed on and i didnt get any of those numbers i got 1.4xx???? if the axle OD where the bearings are pressed on is smaller than the listed ID of the actual bearings then wouldnt that mean theyd slide on loose and arent the right size???? i can believe a damn bearing is giving me this much trouble...

which is it? i need to next day air these things...

Napa Axle bearing part # 88128RA The OD/ID Info will be on the Part Number to cross reference the Moser bearings. My NAPA bearig is leaking, but I think it was due to too much oil in the rear.. This will fit your Moser axle

Wheel Bearing I.D. : 1.5312"
Wheel Bearing O.D. : 3.1496"
Wheel Bearing Width : 1.083"

Moser should be able to tell you the exact bearing that you need. As far as I know, they have their own unique bearing made by Green Bearing Co. so you will have to order them from Moser. Their bearing is identical to the 88128RA, but it has a groove with an o-ring. If you get the common 9" bearing, it will not have the o-ring and will most likely leak.

Well that is what I have been looking for. the Moser bearing does not leak, but the NAPA bearing does. Note to fuking self LOL!

The Moser bearings sold in a pair has the same ID/OD. I looked on a weekend becuase I did not want to buy another NAPA bearing.

Here is the MOSER bearing PART#RW508ER-1531 and linky http://www.moserengineering.com/big-...-1-531-id.html

The bearings that I got with my 9" housing/axles from Moser last week do not have the o-ring on them, I think they stopped doing o-ring bearings quite awhile back. A quick smear of rtv around the o.d. of the bearing (and good axle seals) is a good way to prevent leaks.....

This might be due to your specific setupcausr I just ordered the ones from moser with o rings...And for the record mine ended up being moser part number 9508B 1.531ID and 3.150 OD
