New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - LS6 MAF for an LS2 ??

Hey Guys, I have a 1980 T/A. And got an LS2 from 2006 TBSS. I got the harness for the swap but I didn't get a maf.
I can get one local from a dude add says "GRANATELLI PERFORMANCE MAF FOR 5.7L LS1 OR LS6" for $75.
Just wondering if it's compatible with what I got.

It will work but require a tune to calibrate the MAF tables. Plus I would get am 85mm since that is what it came with. Get a truck 85mm off e-bay for about $50. I am not positive the truck MAF is calibrated the same as an LS2 MAF so may require a tune. If you run the LQ4/9 part #'s and they are the same as the LS2 MAF you are golden.
