i know a 15x10 is what most everybody uses, and thats what i have now but i was wondering if anybody went with a 12" wheel especially camaro guys.
p.s. i want pics of wheels that fit also if its possable, not something sticking out the sides of the car.

It's my understanding that the basic recipe is as follows, I could be wrong though.
15x12 5.5 or 6.0 BS Not sure which one fits the best
Offset lowers
Wolfe adjustable upper spring perches with 2.5 inch coil over springs
Narrowed 3 inches per side
Mini Tub
I don't know of anyone who has gone 3.5 per side but I have heard it can be done without moving the lower control arm bracket

15x12 6" BS rim. 315 Radials. Whenever my stock length strange DA shocks sell I plan to drop the car more since there is room. I just won't have any compression in the shocks if it is lowered anymore right now.

If I didn't know any better you just cut the rear bumper cover to fit that 315 tire... what did you do to get them in there? I'm sure a minitub.. but regardless.... that looks killer.
I wanted to do a 29.5S tire, but thought it was going to have clearance trouble..
From what I'm seeing it doesn't look like it will be an issue.

We ran the 29.5S tires on stock tubs as pictured above with no problems. I stuck a formula bumper cover on it, trimmed that, and cut the metal back that was behind the bumper cover. Didn't touch the front of the quarter panel.
I did end up fab'ing some minitubs up two weeks ago and sticking them in the car. Didn't change anything else though. There was no way the 315 radial was going to fit with the stance I wanted on the car. It still has room to drop it more when the shocks get swapped out.
Keep in mind the minitubs saved some weight so you may still want them for that reason. Don't need them to fit the 29.5S though.

I'm definitely going to minitub, as I want to pull the tires in an inch anyway.
We're going to build a set of lca's with a good bit larger rod end (no aluk bushings needed, as a larger bolt will also be used, and the chassis tabs will get plated to strengthen that up some), and while that's getting done, the phb's getting pulled back so the coilovers can fit behind the rear (still use the phb though, and the tunnel is getting notched out pretty good so I can have lots of clearance there... I want to put the 29.5 tire on and lower the back a good 1.5 inch from where it sat with the 28, go as low as I can before I have to notch the frame is the goal. Lower it sits, the less it's gonna want to stand up.
Raceweight goal, with a 235 lb driver is 2900 with an iron block motor. I get it there and the car will run what I'm looking to do.
I do think, after looking at it that I will go with a 15x12 tire. If I want to run the 275 stuff I will get another set of rims, and just put the tires on those (and probably have to raise the car up one position on the lower shock brackets on the rear)
