Anybody know of any sites that they used when you installed new sprngs/shocks. I am getting BMR springs/Bilstein shocks and need to know what tools are needed, and a good site that can explain the install. I have also heard that because the drop is only 1" with these, that an adj. PHB is not needed. Anyone have this setup and if so what is you experience with them? Thanks.

Thanks for the info guys. I will be tackling this job as soon as they come in and will need all the advice I can get to make it smooth. I ahve new front/rear swaybars enroute too, so should I just wait and do it all at once? I will be giving myself a few days to get everything done.

You won't need to pull up the carpet in your 2001. There are slits in the carpet for the rear upper shock mounts. Also, when I did mine I had to disconnect the rear sway bar because I couldn't get the rear to hang low enough to pull the rear springs out.

A tip I never mentioned in that thread was to swap sides with the bolts you remove from inside the engine bay.

There are star headed bolts under the master cylinder that require you to remove the MC from the booster for access. The bolts on the passenger side are standard hex head.

If you put the hex headed bolts on the driver's side, you can get a wrench on the bolt heads next time w/o removing the MC.
