Default 85 mm throttle body question

Ok my mods are in my sig, How much HP would a 85 MM throttle body give me over the non ported stock one I am running? Would I fell the extra power and would I still have the low end power I have now? Thanks.

Maybe 10hp which is not noticable! Although throttle response may be improved over stock.

Your throttle body is inside your engine?

Sorry I thought I was on the right page . Maybe a mod can move it for me. Just 10 huh. My intake is made for a 85 MM throttle body so I thought I might get at least 20 HP out of it.

20hp seems a bit much for just a TB, but maybe tuned it would you never know!

10-20HP from a throttle body swap? You guys are crazy! You would be lucky to gain 5HP going from a stock 75mm to an 85mm TB.

I thought porting the stocker would give me about 5 HP. If that is true then I should just spend my money on something else. O my plan was to get an 85 MM throttle body and run a 85MM plate nitrous system in it would it be worth it then.

I think im with jimmy on this. Ported stockers are the way to go. I Couldnt really tell any difference but its pretty much free so take it as a win.

The aftermarket ones can give a certain bling factor. So to some its worth it. But if your like me under my hood is dirty anyways hahaha.

throttle response is amazing now, when hitting it from a roll it's violent. part of that is my cam, part of that is the 30 lb injectors, part of it is the 10.5:1 cr, but i'm sure the tb plays a big part in it as well. i'll say that i definitely wouldn't want to put a stocker back on, even a ported stocker.
