Dang! What happened to the crankshaft? Where/who did you order the kit from?
Nice Diamond pistons and Eagle rods!

Matt,

I am completely dumbfounded as to how or who let something like that out of this building. That is 100% UNACCEPTABLE and is NOT how we operate as a company. I don't have the first idea how someone would think that was fine to ship out to a customer but there will be a come to Jesus meeting over this order! Rest assured I will do everything possible to get you a new crank as quick as I can get one balanced.

I will send a call tag for that crank ASAP to have that crank picked up and get a new crank to the machine shop in the morning to have it balanced to the bob-weight we have on file here. As quick as I can get it back I will air that crank out to you so you won't be delayed more than a couple days.

Again, I apologize for the problem on the crank and will get it fixed as quickly as possible.

Is that even able to be used with the rust on the journals like that? Always had good experience with Texas speed

No, even if it COULD be used like that, it is unacceptable to us and we will not have that being installed in any of our customer's engines!

Guys,

I can't stress enough how frustrated we are that you guys are having to deal with this issue. It is safe to say that we will not be seeing this issue with one of our rotating assemblies again.

That being said, in an effort to compensate you for the trouble, WE WILL BE UPGRADING YOU TO FORGED CRANKS AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. Being that it is so late in the day here, I will update both of you tomorrow morning as to which way we will be going after I talk to our crank suppliers.

Damn! TSP did right by the customer. They offered to correct it and then they UPGRADED the piece for free. That right there is EXTREME CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Outstanding! There was no blame game or putting the issue back on the customer...I'm amazed. Good job, TSP.
