Default ls2 intake/92mm TB on a bolt on 01 z28

i got a 01 z28 i am about to work a little bit on, for the owner

the car has some bolt ons, but nothing major, i could beleve it had a "hotcam"/ls6 cam, but dont know for sure, so i will base this on it has the standart cam,

it has the standart intake/TB,l some aftermarket lid, catback

so i was thinking about a nice intake/TB combo, longtubes, ram air, ligth damper and so on, and make a basic full bolt on car,

the market has changed a little bit since i was buying part for my car, i was looking for the 78mm FAST intake and some 78mm TB, but can only see 92mm combos now, isnt a 92mm intake/TB to much for otherwise standard motor?

so i was thinking about the ls2 intake, and NW 92mm, and would realy want to know what you think,

greedings!
thule..

LS6 intake and stock ported throttle body will be all a bolt on car needs. You have an 01 like me so you already have the LS6 intake. There are several porters here on the site. Someone will chime in.

The LS2 intake will not work on an LS1. It has different heads. A 92mm Fast will gain you about 15rwhp but the money would be better spent on a bigger cam or heads. For about the same cost you can gain 3x as much power.

the ls2 uses 243 heads (ls6) and the 799 heads are also an ls6 style
