I am in the midst of doing my first cam swap and i was wondering what is needed to make a melling 10295 properly clear a double roller timing chain?

I think our cover is different but I had no problems with my M296 and my double roller.

I have a 10296 and it would not fit either. From the research I have done the cover needs to be ground.
I just reused my old one and have a brand new pump taking up space.
