How close am I to 11's?

If I could get a better 60ft I'd be there. Best I could get out of the stock clutch was 2.060ft.. Nitto NT05Rs did well just clutch stuck to the floor if I launched hard. I tried slipping it and it just stayed on the floor .

Best run:
2.03 60ft
5.28 330 ft
7.94 1/8th
94.1 mph

Best MPH was 96. Still with a 2.0 60ft.

I know a 1.6 60ft would put me at least at 7.5. Driving the same.
Bummed I can't get a good 60.

No, a 1.6 short time would get you to around 7.2's if you trap 96mph. Cutting .1 off your 60ft is good for .15 overall ET.

Don't use the 1/8 mile to 1/4 mile conversation sheets, they are way off on my car. With that 96mph, and even a 2.0 60ft, you should run 11.80's-12.1's right now in the 122-124 area.

No joke. Easy launchs and low 1/8th times.

Car does sound SUPER sick but you shouldn't be that afraid of spinning. More gas on the launch would help. Or M/T should do the trick.

OK also have more than one person telling me the DA and weather is bad right now for the track. One guy ran 2 tenths faster two weeks ago.. So my 2.0 60ft would be a 7.7.
Not bad. lol

What was your DA at the times of your runs? You can plug in the numbers by going to
http://www.wunderground.com/history/

Then plugging in the numbers
http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-...calculator.php

The DA is going to be bad in Texas for the next 4 months, no real way to get around that until the fall cool fronts start coming in.

There is the link for Caddo Mills tonight. How do I figure out the DA?
They are 550 feet above sea level.

Then find out the elevation of your track. Look at your slips, and plug the weather numbers in to the 2nd link that correspond with the exact time you made your passes at the track from the 1st link(scroll down the page). At the top of your slip, there should be a readout of what time your passes were made during the night.

Thanks a ton.. OK I get 2836 DA for 10:45PM

It only calculates on 1/4 times so I put in 12.0 @123 so in good DA
11.719 @ 126.05 MPH

Go to dragtimes.com....select tools. Then DA calculator. Select the track and time of the run. It will tell you the DA of that run.

running in the summer is not the best b/c of the horrible da we have. i usually won't go to the track unless it is below 1500.

i posted this to you on CF but not sure which site you check more. get a line lock and heat the tires up properly and do the ranger clutch fluid flush before each run. that will hopefully help your 60' and your clutch not sticking. your clutch may not like those rolling burn outs. line lock is a couple hundred bucks and the fluid flush is like $10. line lock is easy. i bought the cartek one and i was able to put it in in a matter of minutes. and i have mine on a wireless remote so i didn't have to mount a switch in the car.

Thanks for the tips Andrew. I do the Ranger clutch flush everytime I go to the track.
Also I tried slipping the clutch way to much the time it glazed. Next time i think I'll launch around 3k with a slight slip.

Will do. I'll take you up on the install help. The wireless setup probably looks clean.
Hope this clutch can hold up to 150 shot rolling starts for a while. Do not think I'll spray at the track till I get a better clutch.

hahaha that would be a huge loss of power. Unless you do your math like I do, more cams=more power.

4xcams=4xpower

Makes sense to me.
