Default H/C clutch options

I know this has to have been asked a ton of times, but search isn't working for me. Putting a t56 back in the Firehawk and wondering what are my options for a clutch. Not wanting to spend $800+. It's a forged, 5.3 headed, MS3 cammed full weight car. But it's always on street tires, and won't see any track time, just fun street driving and maybe a roll race or two lol. Was looking at like a Spec 2 or similar. Would like to keep cost around 500 or so. What do you think would be a smart choice?

Over 40 views and not one opinion? lol, thought LS1tech was full of people ready to give their opinion. Haha j/k. Would a LS7 clutch be ok? BTW, the 12 bolt has 4.56 gears.

Yes, I would say a LS7 clutch would be ok. I just installed one in mine just over a week ago and am still breaking it in. I can't tell you the number of threads I went through on clutches before I decided on the LS7. Many run this clutch with more hp than me with no problems. If I ran it at the track some I might have went a different route, but for just getting on it hard ever now and then it should be more than enough.

LS7 is a great choice for your power level and is very cheap. As mentioned if you wanted to run at the track much I would say to go with something other than the LS7.

I was looking at the LS7 for a while, but though I might see the track a little more frequently after the mods, so went with a Textralia X-grip. Still awaiting install, but I wanted something that might be called overkill, just so I wasn't hitting the borderline of too much for a LS7. Monster Clutches are up and commers, so you might look into one of those as well.
