Default any way to CC a head at home?

i bought a used set of 317 truck heads,and they have been ported and had machine work done to them..the guy i bought em from didnt know the CC of the head..is there any way i can check the CC with some at home items??

get a piece of plexie glass drill a small hole in it. go to the cooking untinsle isle of wal-mart and get a baster the measures in cc's. put a spark plug in the head, alittle grease around the chamber and fill away.

exactly what i was thinking! but what should i use for the liquid?? water? or good old vegetable oil? haha

i have used water cut with rubbing alcohol 50/50 and a few drops of food coloring that worked for me fine

just use rubbing alcohol with nothin mixed in it...works fine.

I used rubbing alchahol.. What a simple job that was.. I ended up with 73cc which makes sense since there is some work done in the bowle area.. Probably enough to make up for the 2 extra CC... That's ver good news cuz the guy I bought the heads from didn't know if they where ever decked
