I know HKE but what other options are there to have a forged short block built? I'm looking for some one to get one done quick.

They are not sponsors, but Houston Engine Balancing does great work, they build a lot of bracket racers motors, conrad racing engines does great work, and so does naiser racing engines. You may try any of those guys to see the turn around time they have. They all build some high hp bracket racing, comp, pro stock, etc. motors. I would put these guys on the same level as HKE, they are just not as known in the LS community, but have been building quality race engines for years.

Conrad racing will build you a motor that will stay in one piece for a long time. They have been doing it forever. Just be ready to take a trip to the ghetto

HKE. Thats all we use. Eric knows his ****.The wait is worth it. If you use a fly by the night shop and it blows up. It will take longer than if you had waited for HKE to build it right.

What motor are you looking to build? IE: Size and power adder or no power adder etc...
