Try to find a 87-88 Turbo Coupe pedal assembly. They are the only fox cars to have a hydraulic clutch system.

You can modify your pedals. Remove the pedal assembly and get rid of the quadrant and cut the housing. Get a tilton 3/4" master cyl from summit and bolt or weld to firewall then mount reservoir to engine side of firwall

I think at most to get it to bolt up you might have to elongate the mounting holes. The most popular way I've seen for the master cylinder was to use a universal master.

I found mine on a turbo coupe forum. Just google "Turbo Coupe". Should be one of the first ones to pop up. There are usually a few being parted out. I registered and posted a want ad and had a couple of responses.

i used a stock fbody master and i used my stock pedals........... i quit listening to all these people who kept tellin me to spend the money on pedals then spend money on a universal.............
if you cut off where the quadrant goes on your stock pedals and lay them on a bench it will all come to you man........ didnt cost me a dime...... but probly 4 hours of work by the time i was done

yea a buddy of mine might have a fbody master laying around so i can see if i can fab it up....it would be alot nice if i could just use my foxbody pedals......now when u say cut the quadrant off what do u mean?.... my quadrant slides onto two posts and then a clip holds it in.....did u have to fab up a stop for the pedal?

Any update on this topic? I'm also looking into doing a T56 swap when I do the LS swap on my fox body mustang.

Default hydraulic clutch conversion

Just use the mcleod hydraulic clutch conversion kit, and you won't have to dick around with stock pedal assembly. Order it without their throwout bearing, and just use the stock fbody stuff. Easiest way I found to make it work.

I just finshed my swap went from a 4l60e to t56, I used wilwood 7/8 master slave, -3an line, 87-88 tb pedals, I cut and fab a bracket for the master to be mounted under the dash, the back off the master sticks threw the fire wall right above the steering link, you have to cut your boot, my engine is mounted very fare back so I had to trim the floor for the shifter to slide threw, i just walk in from taking it in my first test drive!!!!

I have a 91 notch with a 6.0 with a 4l70e trans. I really want to swap to a t56 but I am worried about it fitting in the stock location. Has anyone done this successfully? Thanks guys!
