Racer's Lounge - IHRA drag racing 2

Ive been playing the game again recently and was wondering if you guys figured out how to make an automatic work?

Ive got an outlaw 10.5 '57 Chevy I made, turbo 588 BBC on gasoline running 5.47@242 running a custom gears chrysler 4 speed (LOL). Was thinking maybe the car would pick up some using a glide but could never figure out how to make it shift?

Also, is that Xbox IHRA 2005 edition game the same thing does anyone know?

how to make them shift? what does the motor rev to?

i built a big turbo 5.0 sn95 with a C4 and it revs to 9000rpm, go to devices (where the shoots and 2 step settings are and other stuff, go to rev limiter, and set the rev limiter to whatever the motor revs to (i set mine to 9500)

i also built a 4cyl nova on gas, nitrous, and big turbo..its got a 4k stall in a th400 on DR's (750hp) when boost kicks in at around 5k all hell breaks loose lol, then i do a nitrous run and i cant even go past the 60' before i spin lol

Just keep shifting manually. It more fun that way. And IHRA2 is the best out of all of them...

Yea, I cant ever get the thing to shift with an automatic.

I agree its more fun shifting and have always used a stick since ive had the game, I just figured I would ask if anyone figured out how to make an auto work.

I dont think I would even try to stick the auto in this car now that I think of it, it works too good as it is right now...I could almost bracket race this thing.

will this game work on xbox360? or just regular xbox? i need to get a new game....
