Unhappy Need Info. Please!!

Okay, can someone who knows about TC's tell me what is "THE BEST" TC to get for my money.... My car is an everyday driver, but I want it to be good on the track also.
Also, is a TC going to hurt my gas Mileage? And is it going to boost my HP an TQ?
Im looking into this because I found a little bit of extra change in the couch.
What kind of Price are we talking about here, and where can one be ordered.?
thanks guys

I personally would go with a yank and give them a call, but best bang for the buck would probably have to be a tci verter' like their ssf3500

Best converter for the money would be TCI superstreet fighter converter, 3500 stall and has shown its a great performer.
