MSD coil packs?

i have a 98 camaro ss and am in the process of putting a 408 stroker in it and was wondering if i should go with the MSD coil packs, what are the advantages of these?

i dont have em.........but it seems every 1 agrees that they are a waste of money.....not to mention that some claim they crap out in a short amount of time
