the v3 is pretty big for stock heads IMO. i would go with something more under the curve. custom is always best but i went with a 224r. the 228r and tq v2 are also real good choices for off the shelf.

Depends on how big you wanna go.. I went with the TSP Tsunami, yes it's a big cam, but I figure go big or go home! I would rec. either the V2 or V3 or possibly the 224 or 228r! Good luck with your choice n let us know what u choose to do!

To the OP if your buying a Cam Kit, it should include everything you need, except timing chain / oil pump. But "best" cam would be custom grind.

How about telling us how much power you wanna make, is this a DD, what are the plans for the car in the future, have you ever had a cammed car before, have you done any research at all, etc. ?
I feel like I need to save that in a Wordpad document for all these people that start threads like "what cam should I get", so I can just copy and paste the **** in every one.
Its like going to the bar and asking " whats the best drink you got ? " Everyones answers are going to be different.

The car is not my DD. It has 45k miles on it. I want agressive street car that i can have some fun at the track with. I also take the car a couple long drives each year about 300 miles from point A to B on the longer trips. I would like to try to break 11's with the car. When i called Texas speed they said if i go with the 111 lobe separation i will not have to fly cut the pistons.

Get the T-Rex cam!!! Kidding, the 228R from what i hear is an awesome cam. Everyone has always said good things about it. I kind of wish i would have gone with that cam now but o well. Im running the Cheater V3 cam now and its a nice cam but i feel like i could have went bigger without any loss in drivability.
The only reason i went cheater is because no one around here can tune for **** and im not driving a car un tuned.
So if i can give any great advice it is make sure you know who you will have tune it and make sure they know what they are doing.
