1998 Mustang LSx FIRST START
So, Vats is still enabled, so it only runs for a second, but it has no issues firing at all! enjoy!

Very nice, what a great feeling. Just recently dropped an LS1 into a Porsche 928 and got exactly the same result (runs for about a second). I just turned off VATS today but have an issue with the accelerator pedal that I must work out. Keep us posted!

We hot wired the fuel pump and I shorted the starter to get it running underneath.

With the GM computer in it the ford THEFT light flashes and we can't get the computer to turn on the fuel pump, and we also can't get the key to crank the engine... anythoughts?

thanks!
Another question, I am going to run the fuel pump off the GM wiring coming from the GM fuse box. From what I understand the FP relay on the mustang is in the passenger side fender, any idea which wire it is in there? For some reason my maunaul and research doesn't have anything

On the key, The guy who owns the car wanted to get rid of his ignition switch so we built a lil box with a switch in it that controls the accesories, key on an start, As for the fuel pump we ran new wires to it with a 255 installed into the tank aswell. The fuel pump comes on when ignition on is switched.

Thanks for all the help guys! Once I get a chance to push the car back in the garage this weekend I will try and get all that stuff sorted out and I will post some pictures and maybe a video of it idling with the TC-78 on it
