Default Guys with Lokar throttle cables in here please

How did you hook up the pedal end? Did you drill the pedal?

Or

Did you cut the stock cable, slide off the little deal that locks into the pedal and slide it on the Lokar cable?

It has that peice that slips through the pedal end and then I used the a metal tie to hold it on. That with tension keeps it snug.

I just pulled the piece off the stock cable and installed it on the Lokar cable, and yes you have to use fender washers on the firewall.

I used the red piece off the stock cable and put washers on the firewall. Never had any issues.

yea i just cut the stocker right off the pedal and re-used that little black retainer piece in the pedal....then i just cut off the end of the lokar cable slid it through the retainer and put a barrel end with a set screw on the other side to hold it.....pretty simple.......hope this helps

Well the first time I stepped on the pedal it pulled the cable though the black factory piece.
