The problem with Toyotas wasn't the floormats, they just used that as a scapegoat.

Floormats were a problem though.

The main problem is the general public DOES NOT KNOW how to drive a car, or install floormats. THEY ARE NOT MEANT TO BE STACKED

The floormats weren't the problem. That doesn't mean that stupid people can't fuck up things that we thought were un-fuck-up-able, but paralleling this to the Toyota issue is stirring up shit at best and trolling at worst.

Uhm, toyotas had the same issue as ford. their all weather mats were being stacked and causing the pedal to stick. im not saying its the main cause of the unintended acceleration, but it did cause it in a lot of cars.

but paralleling this to the Toyota issue is stirring up shit at best and trolling at worst.Exactly. Apparently he simply couldn't wait to post this up immediately and make the failed attempt at sticking it to the American company while trying to make the Japanese company look a little less guilty (it didn't work LOL).
Gotta love Toyota nutswingers LOL. :swing:

That is just dumb ass people, could happen in absolutely any car.

Toyota did what they could to fix their issue, and they also warned customers about stacking floormats as it would cause a throttle sticking issue. This just shows its not only toyotas... its any car.

if you believe that then you must also believe that Toyota was the last to know about it. The media was hounding them while they shurgged saying "What are you guys talking about?!"

I believe it caused -->SOME<-- of the unintended acceleration cause I ACTUALLY WITNESSED it HAPPEN IN TOYOTAS. one OE all weather mat on top of a OE cloth mat = stuck gas pedal.

Sorry if me actually SEEING IT FOR MYSELF carries a little more weight that you guys nut hugging the media. again, im not saying toyota did not have a problem, but the floor mats WERE an issue.

You might drive your enemy, but that's it. You prance around happier than ever about every domestic recall, then cry yourself to sleep when the imports go down.

At least that has been my perspective...or in other words,

AS I HAVE SEEN

Not even close. Toyota's problem is that they have no idea WTF they are doing with drive by wire. Floor mats? :jest: That's a good one. Nice try Toyota. I guess at least one person bought that line of shit.

Do you not read what i fucking post? You guys have your heads so far up your asses you don't even believe shit that really happens. I don't even know why I bother posting truthful shit. Keep thinking floor mats weren't an issue, whatever lets you sleep at night

like I said, I myself saw floor mats causing gas pedals to stick to the floor. in a lot of the toyotas that had "unintended" acceleration complaints. and you think i prance around about every domestic recall? no. I just think its cute everyone starts dancing around when Toyota gets a recall. I wish GM was still on top and pontiac didn't go down the shitter. Im done posting i forgot this forum is full of 12 year olds that don't believe real life shit over the fucking brainwashing TV

Me too. Been doing it since forever, and logged MANY 10s of thousands of miles on several cars that way without issues. I can't see how anyone could somehow run into issues doing this unless they were totally brain dead and put the mat over the pedal.

Toyota sucks right?

Yes, it does.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Toyota is very much like illegal drugs; it's bad for your health, but some people try it and get addicted, and you're better off just keeping it out of your life in the first place.
